Eighteen years ago, when wrestling with the question all DV victims face, “Should I stay or should I go?”, I lived in northern New England and did not have a professional support network of any substance to turn to for help. My options were very limited: couples counseling or choose a new identity and go underground. Today, we know these choices are not recommended.

Had I been able to call Peaceful Paths, I would have felt supported, empowered, and offered a variety of services, all focused on helping my children and me start on the road to survivorship from day one.

Peaceful Paths, and all of its partners, know how to support victims and survivors of interpersonal violence.
